Project Fees Commercial
As each commercial project is unique, the fee structure will be set after initial consultations to discuss the scope, design, implementation and project management requirements.
Project Fees Domestic
Initial Design Consultation – Concept Development
Fee : €325 plus VAT 23% for 2 hours + summary report
The initial design consultation covers a visit to your home where we have an opportunity to discuss your design challenge on site, review the layout, consider budget, commence colour and fabric ideas in order to obtain a clear concept for development.
This design service suits a client who is considering undertaking a design project and needs it assessed or a client who has a smaller project and is looking for a steer
I will suggest ideas for your consideration and a follow up email will be sent with summary of discussion. The client may be happy to take the ideas suggested and look after the implementation and sourcing from here, or alternatively we move to the Design Process Stage.
Note : If the consultation exceeds 2 hours, an hourly rate of €85 incl VAT will apply for full or part hour.
Mileage charge may apply if the location is 20km or over from base.
Design Process Stage
Fee : €85 plus VAT 23%
Following on from the Initial Design Consultation, the Design Process is about developing the design concept to a tangible reality. This involves my design time spent on sourcing the optimum end products, obtaining quotations, collecting samples, downloading moodboard images, reporting and communicating to you the client.
POA can be requested at this juncture as it will be based on number of rooms and elements involved but an hourly rate of €85 plus VAT 23% will apply.
2D & 3D Drawings would be an additional fee but are really only a consideration for commercial projects.
Project Management
Fee : €95 plus VAT 23% per hour
With the Design Process Stage conclusions provided, you may be happy to implement the scheme yourself and use your own contractors and all that entails.
Should you wish to retain me to manage scheduling and timing of works or to co-ordinate and be on site for my team of sub contractors an hourly rate of €95 plus VAT 23% will apply.

Colour Consultation
Fee : €200 plus VAT 23% for 1.5 hour
I can help you choose the perfect colour scheme for your space while taking aspect and other design considerations into play in the environs of your home. I carry a full selection of large colour cards for Fleetwood, Colourtrend, Little Greene and Farrow & Ball which can be viewed in your home and help you in your selection.
A summary email will be sent with list of colours specified. If the consultation exceeds 1.5 hours, an hourly rate of €85 plus VAT 23% will apply from that time for full or part hour.
Mileage charge may apply if the location is 20km or over from base. See below for rates.
Travel/Mileage
- €45 incl. VAT to cover mileage and time travelling each way where client location distance exceeds 20km from Cork Airport base. Paid on the day of consultation.
- €70 incl. VAT to cover mileage and time travelling each way where client location distance exceeds 40km from Cork Airport base. Paid on the day of consultation
- €90 incl. VAT to cover mileage and time travelling each way where client location distance exceeds 60km from Cork Airport base. Paid on the day of consultation.
- €135 incl. VAT to cover mileage and time travelling each way where client location distance exceeds 80km from Cork Airport base. Paid on the day of consultation.
Post the Initial Design Consultation, there is a recommended one month window for the client to book into the Design Process stage.
Fee Notes & Timing of payments
Initial Consultation fee of €325 plus VAT 23% – €399.75 to be paid in full at time of consultation.
Colour Consultation fee of €200 plus VAT 23% – €246 to be paid in full at time of consultation.
Design Process fee: 50% deposit paid at outset of project. Balance on submission of design.
Project Management fee: Daily rate will be invoiced on a weekly basis.
Home/Site Visit : €85 plus VAT 23% – €104.55 per hour plus mileage to be paid at time of visit.
Cost of items purchased on your behalf from my suppliers e.g fabric, lighting or any elements will require a 50% initial payment at time of order and balance prior to receipt.
